We appreciate very much how important being taken for a walk every day is to a dog. You just need to see their excitement and anticipation when you get out their lead and you put on your coat. I enjoy walking but when I have a happy dog by my side or running around in front of me, I enjoy walking so much more. We are very fortunate as we have fields and woods near our home so we can relax if the dogs are not on a lead not having to worry about traffic. Still, I like to speak with you first about whether you prefer your pet to have his lead on or not.
We don’t take many dogs at the same time so your dog will have a lot of play and attention from us.
I think you will agree that your dog will feel even more at home if you bring his own bed and if he has one a favorite toy. A change of diet might not go down well so better to also bring the food he is used to. Every dog we have stay with us has eaten all his meals and I think this is another good sign that they are feeling relaxed with us.
We always send a text or email to let you know how your dog is settling down with us.
